So once again, Welcome to The PBR League Forums (PBRLForums)! I'm just going to go over some guidelines here, and this list has the potential to be updated many, many times as these forums grow. It might be in your best interest to check back here every so often to see if the rules have been updated. When a new rule is added, there will be a period of leniency towards those of you that break it, because I know not everyone will be able to know everything I post. If you break a rule during this time, I'll PM you with a reminder and link you to the rule on this post.
All rules added on September 28, 2008 unless other wise noted
1. Do not spam, troll, or flame somebody else's thread. I'm not going to define Spam, we all know what it is, and I'm also not going to put up with it in regular boards. Should you feel the need to rant and rave, make a thread in The Random and Off-Topic Board. There are no rules against spaming/trolling/flaming there, but I will still be watching over it and you may recieve a warning If your content violates a rule other Than Rule Number 1.
2. Do not Post Large Images in threads other than The Random and Off-Topic Board. If you took a picture of your cat that you want to share, do it on that board. I like cats and will probably comment on how good the picture is (No Guarantees) but some people are just here for Pokemon so dont "force" them to look at it by putting it into a Gym or Elite Four Board.
3.Be respectful to the Admins/Global Mods/Mods/Elite Four/Gym Leaders/Other Staff. We're here trying to make this League fun for you guys. Don't make us feel like we're wasting because when we win or delete your thread, you get upset. Remember, Everything we do on here is Voluntary. If we decide that we just don't feel like doing this anymore, we can.
4. Don't annoy Gym Leaders/ Elite Four Members with messages about how you challenged them but didn't get a reply. We all have real lives, and can not be sitting around all day while we answer every challenge immediately. DO NOT PM the Gym Leaders/Elite Four Members With complaints regarding their slow replies. If you have waited one week or more without a reply from a Gym Leader/Elite Four Member PM me, Griff, with a message that explains what the problem is. I will then check in with the Leader/Member and I will reply back to you with a solution.
5. No Utterly Offense material is allowed here. This includes Racism, Sexually Explicit material, or prejudices in general. If you dont know what examples of these things are, that is great for you, but just use this simple guideline when you dont know if your content falls into this category.
"If you wouldn't show it to your parents, Dont show it here"
or
"If it would offend somebody to the point of ruining their experience, Don't show it here"
6. Cover Up spolier information with a Spoiler tag. This is Self explanatory. Some people enjoy know what new things to expect in pokemon games, or movies. But others want to wait and find out for themselves when the product is released. With a spoiler tag, both parties are happy.
7. Dont get angry when somebody corrects or suggests something to you. Maybe someone knows about a better strategy that you could implement to make your team stronger. If you dont want to, KINDLY refuse but dont explode on them. Also if somebody helps you out, make sure to thank them. Saying thank you shows you appreciated what they did, and gives them a reason to help you out more later on.
